Create and link an acquisition record

Learn how to create an acquisition record and link it to an object record.

Create an acquisition record

1. Log into My eHive.

2. Select Create from the menu.

3. Under Other catalogue types, select Acquisition record.

4. Enter data in the acquisition record fields.

5. Optional: You can link to object records now, or you can do this later.

   1. Under Related objects, select Find related record.

   2. Search for the object record.

   3. Select the object record and select OK.

6. Select Save.

Link an object record to an acquisition record

1. Go to the object record.

2. Under Tools, select Edit record.

3. On the Acquisition tab, under Related acquisition record, select Find record.

4. Select the acquisition record and select OK.

5. Select Save.

6. Save the object record.

Create and link an acquisition record from an object record

1. Go to the object record.

2. Under Tools, select Edit record.

3. On the Acquisition tab, under Related acquisition record, select Create acquisition record.

4. Enter data in the acquisition record fields.

5. Select Save. The acquisition record will be linked to the object record.

6. Save the object record.
