The Part/holdings field records instances where you have multiple issues or copies of an item, such as a series of periodicals or magazines.

Cataloguing tips
It may not be practical to catalogue each issue. Instead you can record the details of series on a single record, and use the Parts/holdings field to record the issue number, name and description of each individual issue you hold.

You can search on this field with its ID:
parts_holdings
For example, enter parts_holdings: 5 into the search field to find a magazine series that includes 5 issues.
