The Provenance date field records the principal date associated with an object's provenance.

Search tips
You can search on this field with:
provenance_date
For example, enter provenance_date: 2015 into the search field to find objects whose provenance is associated with the year 2015.
Note: Search both long (01.01.2015) and short (01.01.15) year formats with provenance_date:"*.*15"
