Location fields

You can record details about an object's location on the Detail tab of the object cataloguing page.

Location history

You can enter detailed information in the location history section, such as dates and notes.

You can add multiple locations by selecting Add another set. This allows you to store details about location changes over time. You can select Reorder to arrange the location data sets in chronological order.

The location history fields are:

• Location history

• Location history date

• Location history notes

Current location

You can enter current location data in two ways:

• You can manually enter data into the current location fields.

• Or you can calculate the current location from the data in the location history fields. When you update the location history fields, eHive will ask if you want to update the current location.

The current location fields are:

• Place mark (history records only)

• Current location

• General location notes
