Change your plan or renew your subscription

Learn how to change to a higher or lower plan, or renew your subscription.

How plan upgrades work

  • You can upgrade your plan at any time.

  • Your current subscription is factored into your purchase.

  • We will credit your remaining subscription time against your upgrade costs.

How subscription renewals work

  • Your subscription runs for one year or five years from the date that you initially set up your eHive account, depending on the option you chose at that time.

  • You don't have to wait for this anniversary to renew your subscription, you can renew it at any time.

  • If you have a paid plan, all admin users of your account will receive a renewal reminder email 30 days from the expiry date, 10 days out, and the day before the subscription runs out.

  • If you're on the free Starter plan, you don't have to renew your subscription.

How plan downgrades work

  • Once your subscription has expired (your renewal date has passed), you can downgrade your plan.

  • You will need to delete any extra records, reports, or images in your account to ensure they are below the limits of your chosen plan.

  • If you want to downgrade to a free Starter plan, email us at info@ehive.com.

Change your plan or renew your subscription

  1. Log in to My eHive.

  2. Select Settings on the menu.

  3. Select Plans and usage.

  4. Select Upgrade plan/renew subscription.

  5. Select the subscription term (one year or five years).

  6. Select the plan.

    • If you are renewing a current subscription, eHive will calculate your time left on that subscription and offer a discounted rate.

  7. Enter your billing address details and select Next.

  8. Enter your Visa or MasterCard details. Your credit card details are not stored by eHive.com or Vernon Systems Ltd.

  9. Select Place your order. Your payment will be processed by DPS.

Confirmation and tax invoice/receipt

From the Confirmation screen, please print your tax invoice/receipt for your records. Select the Tax Invoice/Receipt link to open a PDF file.

If you are not taken to this screen automatically, your payment has not been processed correctly.

Currency

  • If you have specified New Zealand as your country, you will see the amount in New Zealand dollars. All other transactions will be processed in US dollars.

  • Wherever you are in the world, the US dollar amount will be converted into your local currency, and the conversion will be completed by your bank.

  • The conversion will be from US dollars to your local currency according to your bank’s conversion rates.

  • Transactions completed in New Zealand will have GST added to the subscription amount. This will be detailed in your receipt at the end of the process.

Other payment options

If you don't have a Visa or MasterCard credit card, or require payment in your local currency, please email us to request an invoice (info@ehive.com). Payments made in this manner will incur an additional manual payment fee.
