Add and edit audio files and videos
Learn how to manage audio files and videos in eHive.
File size and storage
The maximum size for audio files is 200MB and for videos is 500MB.
The audio files and videos that you upload to your Object records count towards your storage usage. To understand the storage used by these files, see View your plan and usage.
Add an audio file or video

Log in to My eHive.

Open the Object record.

Under Tools, select Edit audio files or Edit videos.

In the Upload area, drag and drop your file, or click to browse for a file on your computer or device.

You can add up to 20 files at a time.

It may take a few seconds or minutes to process if you have a large or many files.

Reorder audio files or videos

Go to the Object record.

Under Tools, select Edit audio files or Edit videos.

Under Order, use the Up and Down arrows to move files up or down.
Delete an audio file or video

Go to the Object record.

Under Tools, select Edit audio files or Edit videos.

Next to the file, select Delete.
Download an audio file or video

Go to the Object record.

Select
Audio files.-
If there is one audio file, select Download original audio file.

If there are multiple audio files, select View original audio files and then select Download next to any audio file.

Download a video

Go to the Object record.

Select
Videos.-
If there is one video, select Download original video.

If there are multiple videos, select View original videos and then select Download next to any video.

Link to an audio file or video on a media site
You can store an audio file or video on a media site (such as SoundCloud, YouTube or your institution's web server) then link to it from your Object record on eHive. This does not count towards your eHive storage usage.
